Small and new churches are usually having difficulty expanding and reaching out to others. There are several reasons as to why it is like that. It could be that outreach methods developed are created mainly for larger congregations rather than the smaller ones. It could also be the deficiency of funds, most especially if the church had just recently started. And finally, the lack of people support could be a reason as they are the ones who would interact and do follow-ups on every visitor or guest. This is not something to be bothered of, though. There are a couple of ways to increase attendance in your church and let others know its existence. It would be good to consider some of these, as implementing all of it would be too much. Afterwards, you may give a ring or send a message to propose a home visit. Weekends may be also good especially when kids have to go to school during the weekdays. In connection with this, you may also propose an after-school tutoring for children. Finally, offer a two-day medical mission. This would be focused primarily to those who are ill and cannot provide basic assistance for themselves. You would need help from registered doctors and nurses for this one. It would also be better to prepare medicines and first-aid kits for emergency purposes.
